When you create a recovery point, you can customize how and where you want to store it. You can also set options for network bandwidth throttling, the level of compression you want, or add encryption to a recovery point. LiveState Recovery quickly captures the entire system in a recovery point file that can be saved to a SAN, NAS, direct attached storage or a local USB, FireWire, or REV drive.

Home Page Screen provides a consolidated view of the recovery point status for an entire network, including how many devices are enabled for recovery, how many currently have jobs scheduled, how many have missed scheduled jobs, and how many are offline.

Use the universal Symantec Recovery Disk to boot into the recovery environment and easily restore the entire system back to a specific point in time.

The Progress and Performance dialog box allows you to monitor the recovery point creation progress and throttle performance on the fly to utilize resources more effectively while capturing a recovery point.
